Psidium Guajava Seed Oil description

_Psidium guajava_ seed oil comes from the seeds of the common guava plant native to the Americas. Like other parts of the plant (including the fruit itself), it has multi-faceted benefits for skin. Guava seed oil is non-fragrant and rich in moisturizing fatty acids, among them linoleic acid and oleic acid. Both have years of research demonstrating their ability to help improve skin barrier function by helping it retain moisture. Guava seed oil, as is the case with most plant oils, is also a good source of free radical-fighting antioxidants, including a high concentration of tocopherol (AKA vitamin E). Typical usage levels of _Psidium guajava_ seed oil in skin care products are between 1-10%. It offers a light, non-greasy feel, absorbing quickly without leaving a slick residue. Guava seed oil is among the lighter of the unsaturated oils, feeling even lighter on skin than avocado oil.
