Kalanchoe Pinnata Leaf Extract description

_Kalanchoe pinnata_ leaf extract comes from a succulent plant native to Madagascar that is also known as cathedral bells, life plant, and miracle leaf. It’s been used for centuries in traditional medicine to treat headaches and inflammation. Modern science is now discovering it might have additional benefits, including for skin. Recent studies find that this extract has antioxidant properties that defend skin against pro-aging free radical damage. Research also found that juices from _Kalanchoe pinnata_ exhibited protective properties against both UVA and UVB photodamage. While not a widely used anti-aging ingredient just yet, it is an intriguing addition to the natural arsenal of ingredients that can improve skin’s look and feel over time.
